Arizona - Sedona, Jerome, Prescott, sightseeing suggestions

We'll be attending a wedding in Phoenix late March. The plane tickets were $$$ enough to extend our visit to AZ by a couple of days.

We're planning on doing a Sedona>Jerome>Prescott loop in two days before the wedding.

We've never been to AZ before. Given the suggested route above, are there some 'don't miss' things to see on that loop? Photographic opportunities encouraged....moderate/difficult hiking is okay.

Antelope Canyon is desireable - but it's probably an impossibility due to the extra drive time beyond the loop.

Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thanks for your help.

    Best,

That loop of Cottonwood, Jerome, and Sedona is nice.

A lot of people like the Pink Jeep Tours of the hills around Sedona. Catch a sunset.

Takes a few hours to drive, but the Grand Canyon truely is a Wonder of the World. The El Tovar is a classic National Park lodge.

+1 on extending another day if possible and including the Grand Canyon. It is truly awe inspiring. Sedona is also absolutely beautiful and, as a side point, is the only place where the McDonald's doesn't have golden arches. They are a teal blue in keeping with the feel of the town.

You could tour the Ruger factory in Prescott. The downtown area is also nice.
