    Donate guys & gals!

I don't know how often the donation counter is updated, but as of today it is 40.5% to goal.

    NOT GOOD!

Ever run a server BB? I did (a Pediatric Board), back in the very early days BEFORE the web. Much more expensive now.

If you love this board as I do, DONATE, or lose it. NEVER expect a board manager to pay for it on his/her own.
We all have to go sometime, just not yet!

    Okay.
I had a Drill Doctor for sale at the link below.

If someone would like to donate $40 for the DD, they can have all of it go to support the forum. I'll cover the shipping costs. I just do not want to see this very valuable machine sit here near my desk and not be put to better use in someone's shop.
Was that a run on sentence?
Anyhow, kill two birds with one diamond edged grinding stone.
Just mention that Sam should let me know what the donation was for and your mailing address.

Most of the other BB's that I am a member of and frequently visit have inline advertising that I have to navigate around, across, etc. Some even have linked content that pops out or up with sound, video etc. Sam has always kept the adverting non-intrusive and I am not saying that will change however with our number of active members and non member guests it should not take long to reach our funding goal if folks were tojust make a small donation. $10 does not buy much wood, finish, or tool but your $10 donation to the site should provide at least that much in savings over a years time with the tips you can learn here. To me just the inspiration of some of the completed projects is worth that.

I tried to donate using a CC, not sure if it went through. Anybody know how to tell?
I am praying for patience but extremely upset that it takes so long.

Lee, I'm doing $10/month. Does that count?

If I had any extra money I would donate but as it is I have my PC Thickness Planer up on eBay.
If it sells for asking price, I'll donate $20 or 10% whichever is higher. (Better than letting the bleeding hearts that eBay chooses for you to donate to).

I also have a little home made Chisel Plane. If someone wants to buy it by paying $20 to BT3 and also paying for shipping, I would send it to them.
