Alone in the Wilderness PART 2

I found out this past weekend that there is a Alone in the Wilderness Part 2. It is about an hour of "previously unseen" footage and journals. It's a lot of repetition from the original, but just as incredible. It was a lot of fun to discover and watch.

Every time I see part one or two, I am just astonished at what that man accomplished. At one point he starts out "I think I'll make a spoon today" and with a hatchet, a log and two hours, he has a spoon. The spoon was much nicer than something I would spend days trying to make with a whole ton of other tools.

Been in my book list for a while. Too long of list, unfortunately, for my time.
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

I read the book, watched the DVD and then re-read the book and rewatched the DVD and was still amazed. Tolerating the solitude and long freezing winters is what really amazes me.

I have not seen part 2 yet.
I said I want to touch the earth
I want to break it in my hands
I want to grow something wild and unruly
