LOML and I went to an exhibit at the Huntington Gardens in Pasadena, CA, yesterday. It featured a fine selection of Sam Maloof's furniture, from his earliest 1950's stuff up to this fine example of his rocking chair from the 80's.
There was also a Greene and Greene exhibit in another pavilion on the grounds. It now looks clunky and funky to my newly-acquired Maloof eye!
