Your #3 brought back a similar event for me. Back in 1970 I was being transfered from NAS Boca Chica (Key West) to NAS Albany Ga. I was riding my Norton Commando up US 27 and fell asleep. I woke up when my head hit the handlebars.
Riding in the keys I had 2 encounters with seagulls. One hit me in the shoulder. The other was coming at my face and I ducked and it hit the top of my helmet.
