    9-11 request

With the wind up to the 10th anniversary to 9-11, there is a lot of remembrance going on.

I ask you to remember the first responders that rushed into harms way when instinct was to rush away. They are heroes in every sense of the word. Many of these men and women are still experiencing fallout from that day, both emotional and physical.

I've been going to our local fire department now for 9 years. We put out flags spaced 5 feet apart on all of our property, lights on from 12:00 A.M. till dark. We have our ladder truck with a flag at 45' and of-course lights on the flags. It takes us about 4 hours to get all the flags up, I never ask how many but it is in the thousands. The people of our little town have always came forward with donations for our little bit and for those left behind. We here in our little piece of the world will never forget!

      Never forget.
