That Frick and Frack. from the upholstery or fix it show. I can't remember their names, I think they were brothers. They change these people every 2 years or so. How did Nahm last so long?

Nahm was pretty good at explaining what he was doing. Plus it's hard to cancel someone who says "drawring."

The Furniture Guys - Ed Feldman & Joe L'Arrio (sp?). They were actually on for several years during the 90's. For whatever reason, they liked to poke fun at Norm & This Old House. They seemed to know their stuff when it came to furniture refinishing and reupholstering.

I enjoyed their show, The Furniture Guys. They made upholstry look easy. (but I know better, it ain't)

I picked up Joe's book on finishing. It covered the basics on a lot of finishes. It was entertaining too.

                +1

As to the Frick and Frack, are you sure your not thinking of Click and Clack, the tappet brothers? (auto show)
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

I used frick and frack because I couldn't remember their name was close on the show though. I enjoyed the show they did some nice work. I miss Ole Knot Head from Router Workshop. Now I did learn a lot from that show. Even have a few VCR tape I made from various episodes.

The most important thing I learned from Router Workshop was eye and ear protection are optional. I still don't know how those guys ran a router day after day without getting splinters in their eyeballs. Knot Head and his son were both stone deaf.

Never saw the Furniture Guys. I checked out their website briefly yesterday, but I don't remember much about it right now. That says something, I guess.

I saw them on PBS. A very funny show. They were informative as well as entertaining. I remember the show as... Men In Tool Belts.

I'd love to watch their old shows again. Are they available on disc someplace or streaming ?

I think they had a few shows. The Men In Tool Belts was produced after Furniture to Go. I liked the furniture show much better, allthough I do remember a really good episode on french polishing. Some of the stuff they did on remodeling was fairly mundane and not exactly challenging woodworking (very basic carpentry and trim work). They did make it entertaining though.

I did want to see Joe shoot Ed with a nail gun. He kind of got on my nerves at times.
