Any Tips for Getting Through Shingles?

    It seems that I hear about more people getting shingles than in the past. I read that it is a virus that occurs more frequently in people over 60. The other day I noticed a sign in front of the local Walgreen's drug store that said, "We give Shingles shots." I think I'll check with my Dr. on my next visit. I hope your condition improves quickly.

      You know, the pharmacist said the same thing- that he's seeing more cases of shingles these days. I wonder if it's because we lead more stressful lives- or more accurately, we're ill-equipped to deal with stress as we are coddled more these days than people were in the past... Just a thought.

      But anyways, I have to say I've had very little of the skin ailment. Mostly, it was just feeling tired/ achy. But it was nothing like the horror pictures you see on the internet. I have my follow-up next week, so I'll see then what the official prognosis is.
