Space Shuttle: The complete missions. A video.

Great video put together by Nature Video that show clips from all
space shuttle missions. Backed up by music from a UK band named
65daysofstatic with their songs PX3 and retreat retreat.

    Enjoy.

A quote from another message board about the space shuttle...

"Human beings are simply amazing. 6 generations ago we were lucky to have indoor plumbing. We accomplished this in only six iterations of the modern era of the species, incredible."

I'd like to add this shot of Atlantis taken from the ISS.

As far as our country abandoning manned space flight, the less said the better or I might get myself banned for using bad language.

      I wholeheartedly agree.

NASA's yearly budget is less than what it costs to air-condition U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan for a year:

      Sigh.

That doesn't stop people from complaining about "wasting money in space." I'd love to see the expression of the next *(&*% who's life is saved by the modern emergency medical equipment, especially remote diagnostics. Much of which is a offshoot of developments from the space program.
