    Zip Line anyone?

I visited my brother in law in SE GA last week and his son and grandkids had installed a zip line of about 150 ft, which also crosses the narrow part of a pond (about 30 ft). It had about a 8 ft drop. I rode it and and fell in love with the thrill. (No, I did not fall into the pond.)

I want to install one in my yard for my grandkids and probably will before summer gets here. Anyone else have one, and have any suggestions or problems that you ran into?

Mine will be about 100 ft and I have several hardwood trees that are at least 12 inches diameter or larger at 12 ft up.

Looking forward to some fun with the grand kids.

Yeah, I have one. As my backyard is 20 x 25 ft, we had to scale it down a bit.
We call it a clothesline, and I put a squirrel in a basket and give him a shove. Hours of entertainment.
You don't need a parachute to skydive, you only need a parachute to skydive twice.

Your backyard is about twice my Toyota Japan yard! And your imagination is much better than mine!
