    Anyone installed in their toilet(s).....

The HydroRight Drop-in Dual Flush Converter?

Looks like a good product. Any problems, complications? Still working?

Anyone also installed the HydroClean Water-Saving Toilet Fill Valve with Cleaning Tube? Seems to be needed for some installations, but I'm not too clear on that.

Just 12 hours ago I was standing at HD pondering if I should buy this same product. I had to fix mine in a hurry, and I was not very confident in my own plumbing skills, so I opted for the regular one from http://www.homedepot.com/h_d1/N-5yc1...atalogId=10053, just to be on the safe side. And of course the Hydro was double the price at $40.

Now, after installing the new one without any problem, and reading up on the HydroRight, I feel I could have been a bit braver and done better with it.

I'll definitely use it for my other bathroom one of these days.

I've had one, and the fill valve, since last November when Amazon had a really good deal on them. It works as well as can be expected, considering it is still in the box under the bathroom sink waiting to be installed. Maybe installation could be a goal for Earth Day this year if i can get an hour of free time.

Put one in late last year. I also put in a low profile fill valve to make room for it. Works.

The cons are: very hard to push the buttons when installed in the original swing handle opening - easy to understand why the new tanks have a hole in the top for the buttons. Took a lot of (trial and error)s to get the 2 settings to work well.

I have it installed in our master bath. Flush for #1 works OK. Doesn't always get a single sheet of paper down. #2 flush works fine. You will get ring around the toilet if there are a lot of 1s but not too many 2s so you should periodically do the big flush.

My Uncle has a real dual flush toilet and the flush for 1 is much more forceful.

I have another one waiting to be installed (easy to do BTW) but havent decided if it goes in 1st floor powder room or 2nd floor guest which has become our primary since the toilet in the master is on the other side of baby's crib wall and sometimes wakes her up.

My dad installed a very low noise flush toilet in the bathroom of the master bedroom just before he died in '96. It is very quiet.

I am considering the dual flush addition. We had "dual flush" in Japan for a long time. Makes lots of sense on a metered water system.
