    Rehab Addict

Has anyone seen the new show Rehab Addict on DIY? My wife and I are hooked on it. Nicole Curtis knows her stuff, plus she's easy on the eyes.

I really like how she takes these old, run-down houses and turns them into a thing of beauty. What really impresses me is that she does a lot of the work herself.

I've seen it, and I wasn't impressed. I only watched a couple episodes, and I didn't see much to keep me coming back. Her carrying around that dog drives me nuts.

Just started watching the show online. Yeah, that dog has got to go.

OK show so far. At least I'm not paying for cable to see it.

It's one of many I let the DVR record and I watch whenever. Same with Cash and Cari, the antiques/junk/garage sale girl...they could switch places and I don't think I would notice the difference.

There's just enough 'reality' to keep it interesting.

I'd love to see a follow-up on some of the 'flips' made over the past couple of years. I know the Flip This/That House that was filmed in Atlanta was a sham...there were reports of 'shill' buyers, contractors never being paid, etc. One of the main honchos was interviewed about the 'creative' nature of the flips shown and he responded "Hey man, it's television".

Too close to the 'reality' type tv for me. What happened to DIY TV that had some instructional content????

+1 on that. some of the rehab addict/renovation realities type programming can be pretty funny, but that's about it.

I agree. Too much about the drama... I prefer Rehab Reality or whatever for that...

Interesting thing though, it's based in Minneapolis where my brother and I do the same sort of thing.

It's a decent show and one of the ones that I actually like. Unfortunately there are fewer and fewer. Too many shows that end with crashers. I was extremely disappointed when they got rid of all the woodworking shows. I kind of lost hope on the channel when they gave Vanilla Ice a show.

But on they do have some great eye candy.

BTW- Who's the one on the bottom?
