    Bouquet fit for a man

Turned 62 (going on 26!) on Friday. The wife had 'flowers' delivered to work. All fruit and the pineapples were cut to a flame pattern. The 'vase' is a planter shaped like a peanut tank. Most likely will be home to a small cactus.

I ran across this Jim Beam 'Short Timer' decanter on c/l. I had one that was back in the 70's that was destroyed in a fire. This one belonged to a retired Navy man and, although empty, the export seal is still on the cap. My oldest son got it for me.

My youngest gave me a Harley diecast but, more importantly, brought both grandsons over for the evening. Hunter, 5, has been with his dad out of state for several months.

The granddaughter is spending the weekend with us.

You look about 50, but certainly not 62. Happy Birthday and hang onto those good looking grandkids.

        Happy Birthday, Pappy !!!
62 has been good to me, here's hoping the same for you.
( I agree with Conwaygolfer, you look like 50 but still look much older than me.)

Happy birthday, Don! Those are some very cool gifts, especially the tow-headed ones.

Turned 62 last year and decided to quit. Not a day has gone by that I regret retiring. Every day is Saturday now.

Since I had to work Friday and yesterday, I was pretty much left alone in the shop today. Got the last coat of gel urethane on a couple of picture frames, cut down some pool table slate I aquired a while back (2 pieces are going to be on the ground in front of my paint locker, compressor/DC outhouse, and wood shed. The 3rd piece will go in storage for now and eventually be the top to an assembly table). Did the last bit of welding on the cart for my MIG welder and did a bit of clean up/landscaping around the shop.

Trying to tie up some loose ends so I can rework the deck in front of the shop. Also plan to extend the storage area attached to the shop to 5' wide and add a rack for storing longer lumber. Still have 3 or 4 projects that need to get finished before I get into the shop repair/mods.
