She was down to see our accountant this morning and when she got home she casually mentioned she had stopped and picked up something for me. I figured she meant a bag of jelly beans or something.

Then she said she had stopped at woodcraft to check on turning classes and remembered I had commented that I wish I had a miter gauge like my dads old delta, that thing was always dead on not like the junk they ship with tools now.

She handed me an Incra 1000SE! She said it was on sale and was they last one and cried to come home with her. The woman is the best, I better keep her.

Now I need to get going on those kitchen cabinets she wants and has been waiting very patiently for.

She cried, **** I just joined her. To have a best friend like that is to die for, she thought of you before herself, that is a true friend. One that steps in to take whatever it is that is your demise, my wife is the same way. She ask me who my friends were one time and I told her I have very few. She ask me why. I've been a big game guide, owned my own mill, been a fishing guide and so on. Would an assistant take the step in front of me to protect me? If yes he is a friend, all others are just people I know. Would she? She ask if I would do that for her, my answere, your my best friend!

You are a very gifted, not all have a best friend that is also our lover, our kids mother, cook, cleaning maid and the person that talks to the damm account!

great treat by your wife. it's that kind of attention to the likes and dislikes of each other that keep marriages alive. but check out that 1000 carefully. i have one and rarely use it. seems as though there's too much fidgetting to get it to do what i want it to do. i like the miter head.....great accuracy...but the extension arm and instructions sometimes seem like they are over-engineeed.
