    Oregon policemen

GOOD A Bend, Oregon policeman had a perfect spot to watch for speeders, but wasn't getting many. Then he discovered the problem--a 12-year-old boy was standing up the road with a hand painted sign , which read 'RADAR TRAP AHEAD.' The officer also found the boy had an accomplice who was down the road with a sign reading 'TIPS' and a bucket full of money. (And we used to just sell lemonade!)

BETTER A motorist was mailed a picture of his car speeding through an automated radar post in Pendleton , Oregon . A $40 speeding ticket was included. Being cute , he sent the police department a picture of $40. The police responded with another mailed photo of handcuffs.

BEST A young woman was pulled over for speeding. An Oregon State Trooper walked to her car window, flipping open his ticket book. She said , "I bet you are going to sell me a ticket to the State Trooper's Ball." He replied , "Oregon State Troopers don't have balls."There was a moment of silence. He then closed his book , tipped his hat , got back in his patrol car and left.

    Another:

A motorcycle patrolman was rushed to the hospital with an inflamed appendix. The doctors operated and advised him that all was well; however, the patrolman kept feeling something pulling at his crotch.
Worried that it might be a second surgery and the doctors hadn't told him about it, he finally got enough energy to pull his hospital gown up enough so he could look at what was making him so uncomfortable. Taped firmly across his private parts were three wide strips of adhesive tape, the kind that doesn't come off easily --- if at all.
Written on the tape in large black letters was the sentence "Get well soon ... from the nurse in the Jeep you pulled over last week."
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work. - Thomas Edison

Read this one on another forum....

Southern policeman pulled over a man for speeding on the highway.

As he was writing out the ticket the man asked: "Why did you pick me out? I was only keeping up with the rest of traffic?"

The policeman asks him, "Have you ever been fishing".

The driver responds, "Sure I have".

The policeman then asks, "Did you ever catch every fish in the pond? Now make sure to press hard on the pen, there's five copies".
