    2011 is an unusual year.

    This year we will experience 4 unusual dates, 1/1/11, 1/11/11, 11/1/11, 11/11/11.

NOW GO FIGURE THIS!!--- take the last 2 digits of the year you were born, plus the age you will TURN this year and it WILL EQUAL 11 or 111.

    Example: I was born in 1944, this year I turn 67. 44+67=111.
I thought I was wrong, but I was mistaken.

Someone posted this on another board. That math works for every year.

Kind of hate to be a party pooper, but it's similar for every year- all you're doing is counting the years since either 1900 or 2000- no big deal.

For example, my birth year was 1951, 51 years after 1900; I turn 60, so it's been 51+60 years since 1900. Next year it will be 112 years- So? (other than time marches on).

Maybe it is a little more special because it is still has all ones in the answer
