    For former miltary

I found this site requested a copy of my records. I retired in June 1990 and there were a couple of things I wanted to research.

This was in December and I expected to get copies of my DD-214's and not much else. Today I got a package containing a copy of my entire SRB.

    Thanks!

How far back to how current do you go? If you had told me in the 80's that the Army would do away with paper personnel files and be nearly 100% electronic by 2010, I'd have laughed. I've got so many archived PDF files now it's crazy.

      Thanks, Don.
Been meaning to get a copy of my 214's. That was painless enough as well.
First time I got out, I remember them telling us the address to write to should we ever need a copy of these. My memory ain't what it used to be but I didn't remember that address the next day.

Thanks for the valuable info. I also misplaced/lost my DD214 several years ago and was always going to get around to requesting replacement. I didn't realize it was this easy.

Ray, not sure I understand your question. This is not my website. It is a link to a national archive system of US Government documents. Copies of military records can be obtained through this site. There are also access links to other official government documents and photos dating from current to the Revolutionary War.

              Hey Don,

Thanks for the head's up, unfortunately, considering my "status", I have no records that can be accessed by most former members in mine and probably your pay grade.
