    Italian-designed space-saving furniture

Hopefully this isn't a repost -- it's got a zillion views and I've been away for a little while -- but I just saw this for the first time and had a few "Oh, how cool!" experiences with it, like the "everything stays on the desk" part.

Speaking of transformers -- how about this 330 sq ft apartment in Hong Kong with 24 rooms. Yeah, you read that right. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Lg9qnWg9kak

Incredible design and flawless implementation. I can't imagine what that stuff costs, but it's very innovative.

Very cool stuff. I wonder how comfy the beds are.

I'm just thinking how to implement similar designs in a shop. Very cool stuff.
A fold down work bench with parts bins behind them perhaps. I know designs with two or three tools mounted on a single table and rotated have been done. I had one with two tools myself. The best part I see on some of those designs is that things can be left on shelves. Those ME's were using the noodles on these.
