sorry to hear about your plight, and the addition of more metal to your system..
as far as air travel, have you ever thought of changing your name to something along the lines of "Habib al Islam", that way the TSA will never flag you, and you should have no problems getting through checkpoints...Comment

Wish U a speedy recovery. I lived with a metal rod in my rt. leg for 2 1/2 yrs. it gave me so much pain that I removed last July, it was the best thing that I did last year. No more air port screening since.Comment
