    Got a new Toy!

I bought me a new toy last Friday! Really, a toy! Anyone heard of the Hexbug Nano?

I saw one in a mall while looking for a present for a young fellow over here and I had to have one for myself. Then I looked it up online, found out there were made in the US and ordered a couple of sets for grandkids for Christmas. (And a set for me )

Then I looked up contact information and discovered they were made in Greenville, TX, where two of my grandsons live!

Check out the youtube video here:

I will add that I bought a black one and it does look like a large roach running around! I am going to have some fun over Christmas with that thing!

I forgot to give the link to the company. It is a robotics company with a toy division.

Meds would only make me normal again! I can be that way anytime. Life is FUN, especially with grandkids (at the moment.)

You know things like that we used to deride as made in China/Japan way back in the 70's. Now we make that crap here. I hope that's not saying anything about our manufacturing capabilities. Or our desire to be cutting edge tech wise. Well at least they are made in the US. My cat would love one of those. Hours of fun would be had chasing that around the kitchen floor.

Edit: But at $10 for just one of the Nano bugs she isn't getting one.

Turn loose of your ROS once and you will have something similar, but on a larger scale.

Glad to hear a positive report. I bought a system lat month with 2 bugs and a track to run them on for $25 at Costco. Have not opened it yet. Thought I would let the grandkid assemble it himself. A change from Legos.
                  regards,

BTDT. They run out of cord quick, but maybe not quick enough.
