You know, I'm sure they worked hard but it's got to the point where I say why even bother watching anymore. You know how it's going to end up.

Disclaimer: Although I cheer a particular driver, I enjoy the sport more. I do not dislike any particular driver unless they abuse the sport of car racing. I stopped going to our local dirt track because one driver( who I did like and cheered for) won most of the races. It was no longer interesting.

But this one was down to the wire, right?
Sometimes the old man passed out and left the am radio on so I got to hear the oldie songs and current event kind of things

NASCAR changes the rules a and look what happens. Having been involved in Auto Racing most of my life and having been on championship teams on the local/regional level I can tell you winning one championship is hard winning more than is extremely hard. Points racing is hard and it makes you suppress the natural instinct to win. You have to be very under control emotionally and just take what ever the conditions give you. Johnson and Kanus have it figured out and have a great grasp of the big picture. Kyle Bush will not win the championship until he can mature and suppress his competitiveness and his need to dominate. Harvick did what he needed to win Bush pulled a slide job on him to help Hamlin and Harvick didn't lift. Pay Backs are a B*@#% ! There is alway next year.

I must be different than your average race fan: I admire it when a whole team (it's never just the driver) "clicks" and gets it, no matter where. Nigel Mansell and the "all singing and dancing" Williams, Michael Schumacher first at Benetton than at Ferrari, JPM in the Indy car series, and now JJ and team in NASCAR.

And I hate it when then rules are invented to try and beat these teams, instead of making other teams step up and catch up.
