    Congrats to the Giants

Good game. Their pitching really came through.

You will never, under any circumstances, catch me saying anything nice about the Giants.

Yes, a begrudging congrats from a heart-broken Rangers fan. You've really got to admire an organization that can grow talent like that. I hope for Giants fans Lincecum, Cain, and Bumgartner can resist the pin-striped deals they'll get offered.

I still think Wash shoulda walked Renteria once he got up 2-0 in the count, but I'm not sure it would've mattered.

I'm just thrilled the Rangers made it as far as they did, especially beating the Yanks in the ALCS. Who woulda thought the Rangers season would still be going after the Cowboys season died:-)

I am happy they won. My late(94)uncle for whom I am named passed away in Sept. He was a life long Giant fan so this was for him and his memory. He used to take me to Giant games as a kid. What I am really happy about they did it without Barry Bonds.

Ranger fans, great team and great fans. You will get another chance. The Giants were due.

I lived in LA during the early 60's and was at the 4th game of the World Series when Sandy Koufax finished the Yankees off. When the A's had their run in the 70's went to a few of those games also.

Congrats also to the fans. They didn't riot and burn the place down like has happened in so many other cities. Saw the new coverage of the team returning and greeting the fans at the Airport, shaking their hands and letting them see and touch the trophy. This was at 4 am. Good going Giants and San Francisco. BEAT LA!

Good thing you didn't say that about the south side of Chicago.
