Back to Work!
Been on vacation the last 2 weeks. Have to set the alarm tonight and go back to the grind tomorrow.
With a few days of rain (5+ inches) from the hurricane the first week, 3 days in Fredericksburg last week for our anniversary, and rain off and on yesterday and today I didn't get much accomplished.
Did manage to get the shop mostly cleaned out. I still have an overhead storage area and one corner to go through (Mostly partially finished projects and supplies) and some stuff to move to the work/storage room in the house that didn't belong in the shop. I sent more time doing a detailed cleaning and some minor rearranging of the shop than I originally planned, but it needed to be done.
My son took care of mowing and edging while I was out of town.
I got the charging system on my Harley tested, broke down and the parts ordered the first week. The stator came in on monday but too late to get anything done to it before I left town. I got it back together Friday, put the battery on charge, and fired it up Saturday morning. The only question remaining was if the regulator/rectifier had been damaged. No way to test it without the motor running. I got just under 15 volts at the battery, so it is good. I also made a bracket and got my Freedom Bell hung on Friday before I quit for the evening. (Bikers know what the bell is for!) Now if the rain will quit so I can start riding again......
