    My Weekend ---

Was spent in Seattle visiting LOML's daughter and her family. Had a great time and ate to much. The highlight was Sunday when we were taken to the Mariners/Red Sox game. It is the first time that I have been to the new stadium and awesome is an understatement. The weather was perfect, we had great seats, both teams played well and we won.

Sounds like a great day at the game. I haven't been to a game in years. What did they charge for admission?

Baseball is still America's game. I much prefer, however, to watch the pros here in spring training, in little old cozy ballparks, rather than these mega-cathedrals they play in during the regular season. There is nothing better than a couple bratwursts simmered in beer all morning, then quickly grilled to order, and a bottle of beer from an ice bath, cold enough to give you a toothache, all enjoyed under a spring Florida sun, with pretty girls everywhere, and ballplayers who will sit and talk baseball with you at the fence for as long as you want. I will enjoy the ritual every year until they put me in the ground...

Great pic of Ichiro! It has been too many years since i last went to a game also. However I doubt I'll go anytime soon as I no longer get free tickets.

          Perfect Day!

That weather looks awesome, Dick!! I spent 3 years stationed in Everett, and I can probably count the number of days that looked like that on two hands.

In the PNW, since both days of summer are not usually together, you lucked out and got one of them!!

Added bonus: Seattle 4, Boston 2.
