    Surgery

2 1/2 yrs ago I fell off my ladder and broke two bones in my right leg, my Dr. put a SS rod with 3 screws into my right tibia. I have been suffering with constant pain in my right leg. I had to stop working and have been taking pain killers constantly. Yesterday, I finally had the rod removed from my leg, the after effect from the surgery has been very painful and I'm home recovering. Hopefully when all is healed, the constant pain will go away for good. I'm fortunate to have medical insurance that covers most of the cost. I have a list of home projects/repairs I had to put off and need to attend to ASAP.

The projects will wait a bit longer. Healing may not if you over stress the leg.

I agree. Your healing can take a while. You can't be too careful.

Hope you heal fast. Follow any physical therapy regiments that they suggest...it's hard work and painful but can pay huge dividends later on. Good luck!
Happiness is sort of like wetting your pants....everyone can see it, but only you can feel the warmth.

All the best for a speedy recovery!
