    What I did yesterday

My neighbor recently retired and has a list of things he has been planning on doing. One was the backyard decor grinding wheel rebuild that I posted not long ago. He also supplied the Heineken keg for my squirrel feeder posted several days ago. Yesterday he came by with some old dinner spoons that he wanted to turn into fishing spoons. I cut off the handles and drilled the holes while he, using my jewelers hammer and steel block, pounded some character into them. He's headed to northern MN, on a fishing excursion this weekend. His parting remark was "northern pike beware". I think they turned out rather well considering neither of us had ever made them before. Hopefully they will be acceptable to the fish.

    Thanks for looking

Does his wife know he took her grandmother's flatware? Oh, well probably the right choice!

Now leaving perfectly good trout streams down there to troll pike up north may be more debatable.

Edit: Ha! That's what I get for leaving this window open while dealing with the 2 year old. Either great minds think alike or I'm about about the laziest plagiarizer around!
