    Another Potential Darwin Award Winner

    Man Blows Off Arm

WHAT makes it so difficult to understand you're playing with explosives?

He doesn't quite meet the criteria for the Darwin Awards but, given time......

It's more "feces happens", than Darwin. I like the statement:
A hospital spokesman didn't immediately return a call. Maybe they were defrosting the arm and getting it ready to sew back on.

Let this thread serve as a safety warning to all those that want to play with fireworks. Hopefully Bruce will leave his stash of C-4 put away.

          C-4! NOW we're talkin'!

All kidding aside, I hope the dude keeps his arm. I imagine he's in for years of PT no matter what happens. I guess he didn't realize he was in effect firing a cannon.

Last night my neighbor down the block set off something that shook the windows. I can only imagine what tonight will bring. I'll be spending the evening as I usually do every July 4, sitting outside watching the illegal fireworks and making sure my roof doesn't catch fire.

We have the same problem here. We have neighbors that complain about being out of work, but they always come up with buying fireworks...go figure. Tonight will be traumatic for our German Shepherds. They go whacko with the noise.

Fortunately, it's been raining most of the day, so maybe the fireworks won't burn us out.

I just heard on the local radio station that they couldn't re-attach his arm.
You don't need a parachute to skydive, you only need a parachute to skydive twice.

Should have taken him to a hospital, rather than to a radio station...
