    The never ending ankle

Well its official ,I,m going in to get the ankle fused on Wed. Sadly I,ll be an inch or so shorter on that leg and will require special shoes after healing which is expected to take 6-8 weeks non-loadbearing and then 6-8 mo,s in a walking cast afterwards if everything goes O,K,. So in the meantime we,ll be moving as well + the lawsuit against the******* that caused this mess is coming up as well. When will it ever end. Anyways keep my family and myself in your prayers on Wed. I should be home by Fri. or Sat. if there are no complications and will report back then if all goes well. If not it was nice chattin with ya,ll

Best of luck, Tom, and don't forget to take your Happy Pills. Here's hoping you'll be back in the shop before long.

It's your ANKLE, Tommy! The worst case is you won't be able to type with your toes anymore.....

      See ya next week.

Good luck Tom! I had surgery in Nov 2009 to, hopefully, prevent me from having an ankle fused. The ankle is just now starting to come around so I have an idea of what you'll be going through.

Now I have Nov 2010 to look forward to, that's when my other ankle will have the same surgery......

I wore my antennae for 11 months as I recall and have been in a plastic walkin cast ever since, but now 2 more months non-loadbearing(no walkin) and then 6-8 months in the walkin cast again.Just wish me luck on Wed. I should be outta the hospital by next week or maybe this week if all goes well
