    It's Not Made of Wood

Not everything beautiful is made of wood.
My 1993 (mint) RX7, Twin Turbo Rotary Engine. Only 48,000 miles (garaged all winter). Lousy gas mileage, but you've heard of "scary sharp"? This car is "scary fast". Shot was taken at a car show. That's why the hood is up.

Nice looking car. They are fast stock. I drove one at an autocross that was tweaked...pretty amazing. They get some amazing results from that Wankel. The 4 rotor peripheral port 26B puts out about 700HP. That's a lot of oomph.

      Very, very nice. I'm jealous!

Exotic cars and like exotic women. Fun to drive but the maintenance will kill you.

Love it! You know if there's a market for Gen2s? I have my old '87 Turbo ][ parked out there under the basketball hoop, and I'm afraid I won't get around to fixing it up again for a long time... but I have a ton of memories in that car for over half my life and it's sooooo hard to let go to just anyone... That was a FUN car!

I loved the look of that generation when I first saw it. It's a mean looking car! Absolutely beautiful!

              Hi Alex,

Before I picked up this baby, I had a 1986 Gen2 turbo, probably very similar to yours. Big mistake - I used to take it to work and people parking next to me were not as kind to the car as I would have liked. When I picked up this Gen3 (it is in mint condition - everything original), I vowed not be that stupid again. Even so, people parking next to me when we do take it out have put a few minor dings in the doors. I've been a sports car nut all my life. Started out in the 1960's with a Austin Healey 3000 two seater. Getting married put an end to that car. Had to sell it for a station wagon.
