    Legend of the Seeker

Anybody watched this show? Just finished watching the remaining episodes for Season Two.

Could not wait for Season Three but then I just heard that ABC Studios decided to cancel the show.

I might just have to continue reading the books.

I am going to miss both Kahlan and Kara.

There's a book for it? And you are going to read it...? !!?

I can undedrstand why they cancelled it... It is a good story, told in an original ( afaik) way, with well developed characters, and Villians you can like as much as the heros.

Zedikus Zewl Zorander is absolutely hysterical...

And we were just starting to break into more of the Seconday Character's backstory, thanks ABC

So I guess they now have money to go produce some sort of medical-crime-drama

I know, their own spin off, something like NCIS-LAPD-Hospital Crimes Unit, you have the right to turn your head and cough

It was too "Xena"/"Hercules"-ish for me but it was better writen. I really only
watched it if I was flipping through channels and Kahlan was on.

I saw a few episodes of it. The books are part of the Sword Of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. I quit reading the series after Faith Of The Fallen. It started turning into a political treatise against Communism.

I read several of the books a number of years ago (you get your money's worth on those 700-1100 pagers). I also stopped after several books as the quality of the story didn't seem so engaging anymore.

I did like the fact that the author wouldn't pull his punches and there were "good guys" that didn't magically escape from city/state genocides, capture/death, or other negative events in every chapter...

Sad to say I read the entire series. I will disagree and say that Faith of the Fallen is probably the best book in the final four, not that hard considering the last two books were probably the most disapointing reading I've done in years.

I did the same as Kristofor. The first 3 books are worth reading. Like most books they are better than the movie or tv show.
