So, if somebody bumps into that panel, everybody has to leave???? 
In my radio days I took a tour of Missouri's only reactor. The security folks opened the back of my camera, took off the lens, then checked all the film cans and watched me load film in the camera. I got sniffed by two different kinds of explosive-sensing machines, and radiation-monitored on the way in and out.
Got to go into the containment building—it was cool!
