    Rain!

First time in about a month. We got some storms last night and got some rain. Cloudy today so ground stayed damp. More storms tonight. We needed the rain in a big way. Any rain is good, what we really need is a few days of it though.

Supposed to rain here tomorrow, cloudy this evening. Put the AC in the shop window yesterday when it was 90F in the shop. Now i may have to plug the heater back in if it is to cold in the morning.

David, if you want rain come take some of ours. More due on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and next Wednesday. Normally our rainy season has been over for 4-6 weeks by now.

At least it won't interfere with several trips I have planned.

Watch it Jack it has snowed at Tahoe on July 4th. The more it rains the shorter the fire season. But when it stops it will be one bad fire season with all grown of grasses a plants.

Can't believe you've been dry, David... Was in Pinehurst Wednesday through Saturday, and there was standing water on every course we played... One was even cart-paths-only on several holes due to casual water.

Good soaking rains here last week. Forecast was for more but it didn't happen. Nothing higher than 30% chance for the next 10 days.

Pinehurst is quite a bit south of me. There have been storms, but nothing has really hit us until this weekend.

              This makes me happy.

Sacramento's record hight temp for today was 102F set last year. They are expcecting up .5 inches of rain later today. The AMGEN Tour of california is here had a nice day for the First Stage yesterday but will have wind and rain on their ride over to the Coast today. They moved the date from Feb/March untill now to avoid the bad weather. Saw Lance and the rest of the team yesterday up in the foothills. Normal temps for May are 80's to low 90's with a few hot days thrown in toward the end of the month.

                  Crokett,
If you were here you would be sick of rain. Rained 25 out of the last 31 days, and forecast is every day up to Sunday. If i could i would bring you 1/2 of what we are getting. Can't even get the garden out.

It hasn't rained here in a few days. If I run the sprinklers, it will pour like heck.

Today is the first day I have seen the sun in forever! My back yard has standing water in it. We had flash floods over the weekend and some roads went under. We have had to run the furnace at night. We missed spring this year.
