Google Sketchup ???

I am in the process of drawing a diagarm/learning Sketchup. I have need of a model for HVAC flex duct. Sketchup has a model but it is more a tutorial on drawing one. It references a ruby script to draw a spiral (helix) and from there build the duct. I downloaded the script but it is not showing up in the plugins menu. So... either

a)how can I run the script to draw my own helix?
b)extract just the completed flex duct model out of the tutorial model?

I think to get the script to show up, go to

"window">"prefrences">"extensions"

Look to see if the Ruby script you downloaded is in there. If it is, check the box, and it should show up under "plugins". Try that and see if that works.

Ok never mind.... I read the readme on the script and it is actually loaded in the draw menu.....
