    Disruptive Posting

About a week ago there was a disruptive thread started with a challenge in it. Several of our members early on noticed that the thread was out of place in our fine forum and made that comment. Others in the thread stirred the pot in a manner of speaking. I do not normally explain to the forum moderation actions but I think it is time for a small explanation. One or more poster(s) was given a warning infraction which is nothing more than a warning but also a record of that warning. One or more poster(s) was given a ban as he (they) had been warned about disruptive posting in the past.

The comment I left for one such member was to the effect that when other members express that a thread is out of place or not appropriate to our family friendly forum the best thing to do is not post to it. Any posting that will increase the disruptive discussion will be deemed disruptive. Disruptive posting will result in either a warning or if continued a ban.

This forum was started because of a desire to help others and to learn from each other. If you are not here for either of those two reasons perhaps you are not where you should be.

If what you are about to post is not family friendly, is disruptive or will lead others into being disruptive, which include grumbling about Admin or Mod punitive actions to fellow members do not post it!
