Any Moody Blues fans out there?

This is the "official" first video for "Nights in White Satin". Shot in Paris 1967.

Here's the Moodies in 1965 with the original line up. Denny Laine singing "Go Now" Much more bluesy than the 1967 lineup.

They're my favorite group, after the Grateful Dead (pre-Pig Pen's death)

          Hoover,

That is great. They have always been one of my favorites.

I just wish that I hadn't gone to a reunion gig they had out here at the Chumash Indian Casino. It was a lousy venue, folding chairs on a flat floor with a slightly raised stage. It was more like a high school multipurpose room. And, they were lousy.

I remember PBS late 2009 had Moody Blues concert on from the late 90's. and the promo man for the special this was when they were still great. Your experience backs up what has happened to so many groups, that should have quit when they were on top.

I've enjoyed a few of their albums, but I wouldn't consider myself a "fan" in the true sense of having a "fanatical" opinion of their greatness.

The first one played for me just fine. There was a lot of just standing around in that video. The singer was the only one really doing anything.

are ther any moody blues fans out there

This band have not stopped any of their videos on you tube. there are literally thousands including live footage of concerts over the past 3 years or so, Red Rocks, interviews etc.

They are alive and well and touring the USA for the second time this year in June and in the UK in September before returning to the USA and Justin Hayward is still performing with Jeff Waynes live The War of The World at the end of the year as he has done for the past 5 or so years!

They still sound amazing with Justin in amazing voice, still.

                          Cheers.
