    Everything Is Yellow

Including the air. Driving down the road I can see a yellowish tinge. I sure am glad I don't have allergies to this stuff. Hopefully it will rain tonight and wash it all out of the air.

It is GROSS around here. I mowed the weeds this week and picked up the late dropping leaves and every time I emptied the bag clouds of pollen came out. I am a little allergic but it is not bothering me too much. The driveway has a yellow covering, the front steps have a yellow covering. GROSS. It better rain. I want to wash it off my cars but if it is not knocked out of the air first they will just be covered again in no time. My son's vehicles are parked outside and he has to use the wipers just to be able to see to drive.

I have to force my self to put up with the beautiful tropical climate and the beach babes in the thongs.

Yeah, it's awful -- everything is caked in yellow pine pollen. Most people aren't allergic to the pine pollen because (I'm told) it's too big. It's the oaks that cause a lot of problems -- like the ones in my yard. Ugh.

Most of the yellow dust got cleaned up yesterday here in the middle of the state. It is much nicer now. Did that rain reach you guys out east?

Thong shoes, or the other kind of thongs?

Wait, don't tell me. I don't want to know.

We used to call that "green slime" when I lived in TX. Pine trees were the worst offenders.

now I just have to deal with snow mold.

The only thing up here are the maple tree helicopters and they're a month away.

The rain last night knocked it down for now. But next week is supposed to be dry so they are saying it will get bad again. At least it is cooling down to the 70s for highs. We got up over 90 already. I washed the convertible tonight. Yellow streaks on the black top were bugging me.

The beaches may be nice in S. Florida but the traffic isn't.
