Since they're only 17 pounds each, I typically pick them up on the orange section just below the release handle (one in each hand). If you try to pick up the white part, it will separate from the base.

but your picture only showed two of your Ton Heavy Duty Jack Stands and not three. Makes it a lot easier to handle only two and not three.
