Videos on the site are for Canada only, not sure why. I'll miss Tennant's WHO, not to mention Rose and his other tag-a-longs. I watched part of an episode last night, after watching the 39 Steps. More than likely here in the far southern part of Canada (MN receiving Iowa PTV) we are getting old episodes. I started watching when my son, Ken was quite small back in the early 80's. Ken thought the Dr was so cool. I don't remember who played the Dr but he wore a really long black and yellow scarf.
Alright, thanks to an internet site, I just watched it. Really had a good chuckle at the end, the only thing I was disappointed with (not a spoiler) was what the new tardis looked like. (always hoping they would go to something similar to my favorite, wooden inside, like Tom Baker used, again)
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.
PBS also Has the modern Dr. I don't know how if it's the current season though.
According to PBS.org, "Doctor Who" (they write it "Dr. Who") carriage is determined by your local affiliate. I haven't seen it on our affiliate, UNC-TV, in a while...quick search of their TV schedule doesn't seem to find it.
This is probably the trend as contracts expire and BBC gives US distribution exclusively to BBC-A. It also appears that with BBC-A, we'll no longer be a year behind the UK...BBC-UK is currently promoting "The Eleventh Hour" as the latest episode on their site; the same episode we'll get on 4/17.
