I guess my son learned more than I thought from some time in the shop with me

I came in a bit ago and my son mentioned that my boss (work) had called and I should give him a call back.

When I got hold of the boss and we talked for a few minutes he said "I don't know what a glue-up means but it sounded important". Turned out when he called and asked for me my son had told him that he was sorry but I was in the middle of a glue-up and no, he would not disturb me but would let me know to call when I came in.

Now that's a boy deserving to be left in the will, and at 16 he should get a new F150 too.

If only your son had told him that you were out looking for the perfect gift for your boss...

He deserves a 'bonus' in his allowance this week!

So did you tell your boss what a glue-up is, or did you let him wonder?

The boss should be told what a "glue up" is so he doesn't think it's illegal. Anyway, your son is up to speed.
