Time to rest, work is overtaking me

    Hey folks,

Just a note to say that I have asked Sam and Mark to take me off of the Moderator status. I have been doing this since 2002, IIRC. LOML and I will be going back to the States in December for a year of work there and then retirement - if minister's can retire!

Since January, my work load has increased significantly and I am spending less time online. I had to give up some duties on the penturning forum also. If I am going to do something like this, I feel I need to be able to devote the proper time to it - and I can't consistently do that (moderator) at this time. I have had a break this past week and able to get involved in the "Japanese" subjects.

In addition to more duties before I return home, our organization has instituted a monthly report form that is a little quite overwhelming and looong. We have some data collectors who LOVE data and they have moved up the ladder, so data, data, data.

Anyway, I just wanted to say thanks to all who have supported me here and made this fun. I am not leaving or getting a different saw, but I will be offline much more - at least between now and August or September and probably until January 2011

    Thanks

    Hank

Ditto this... (And you thought this would be a thankless job...) Anyway, it's better to come here because you want to, instead of because you have to.

Now, is that C-Man I see in the back with his hand up to volunteer?

Just one more "Thank You" for all your work and contributions. Certainly a big part in making this forum a great place that it is today.

Selfishly, I wish we had more of your time available to us, Hank.

Good luck on the final chapter of your time in Japan.

                      Hank,

Thanks for everything you've done. I hope the transition back to the U.S. goes smoothly.
