    After all the talk

    about April Fool's Day, did you get fooled? I did. My grandson just called, and asked me if I'd been on the White Sox site today. I said I hadn't. He told me Mark Buehrle (maybe our best pitcher) broke his leg riding a three wheeler. We should be a contender this year, and I took the bait, hook line and sinker.

      Nope. Didn't get fooled. One guy on our team at work tried something this morning but enough of us sniffed it out that it kinda fell flat.

          My daughter posted on her Facebook page, "Ben [husband] got the scholarship and we're moving to Scotland!"

          It took most of the day to get in touch with her to find out if it was true or not.

          Sadly, no easy access to single-malt Scotch for dad. They will have to stick it out in Melbourne for awhile longer.
