    Peeping Tom

Our neighborhood has a peeping tom. If you look real carefully above the reflection of the lights, you can see what appear to be scars from fallen antlers. This is one of the things we have to put up with when we choose to live in the Last Frontier.

I think this guy saw me check into Bt3central and wanted to read about woodworking. Nice fellow. Did a number on the LOML's plants around the house.

    Regards, Steve

He seems to be a nice fellow, but you should have him get his own user name and password. Then we can give him a proper welcome.

Last time we were up in Maine we saw one swimming in a man made water feature in front of a real estate office right in town.
They sorta give you that 'you got a problem?' look, then decide you're not worth their trouble and go back to doing what they're doing. Pretty cool to have one peeking into your house!

Is that picture recent? If so, what is all that white stuff all over the ground? We are looking at low 80s by the weekend here.

The chief cause of failure in this life is giving up what you want most for what you want at the moment.

The picture was taken on Saturday. The white stuff is snow . . . probably the stuff that fell in November.

I was hoping Spring has sprung, but the night low temperature still made it down to just below freezing (30.2). One sign of Spring that I look for is a daily low temperature that stays above freezing.

On the bright side, we are having about 11 hours of daylight.

Now, don't all you guys down there wish you were living up here in The Great Land?

          Regards, Steve

The cruise up the inland passage can be quite spectacular. Even if its cloudy (as it often is down there) you should see lots of sea life. I have made that trip several times, although my trips have been on the "Blue Canoe" as we sometimes refer to the State ferry system.

Hopefully your trip will include the Interior - - Fairbanks and there-about.

Have a great trip. Regards, Steve

Really lookin forward to the trip. No Fairbanks this time around. This will be somewhat of a special trip for us. Roundtrip from San Francisco. 10 days, will hit British Columbia, Ketchican, Juneau and Skagway. We did the same stops last time roundtrip from Seattle a few years back.

This was the time schedule that fit a group of my family so this will be a repeat mostly, but being out of Sacramento equals no airlines this time.
Should be kind of fun and interesting sailing under the Golden Gate bridge.

Looking into whale watching while in Juneau. Did the Mendenhall Helicopter Glacial landing last time. Walkaround tour in Ketchican, White Pass Railroad in Skagway. Very special place.

Hope to fit in a few new places next time around, but can't complain!
