Robert Culp, Dead at 79

Robert Culp, of "I Spy" fame, was pronounced dead of an apparent heart attack just before noon today after collapsing while walking.

Like Peter Graves and Fess Parker, many of us 'old timers' grew up watching the adventures (and sometimes antics) of Culp and costar Bill Cosby as globe trotting spys. Another of the good guys now gone from our midst.

I remember watching Bob in the eighties with another Bill in Greatest American Hero. He played a spy character in that one too.

"I Spy" was one of my all-time favorite shows. Loved the program, the writing, and thought the actors were great. Sorry that he's gone.

That's the way I'd like to go...quick and easy! It's hard to remember that Bill Cosby was his co-star. I'm sure Cos' will be out with a great quote soon.
