Who needs a woodchipper to get rid of the body when you have one of these.

Yea!?! That's huge!
I wonder what disks would run? Changing grits wouldn't be done often. The rotational speed of that outside edge could be tremendous.

The sanding disks must be expensive, and hard to find.

Put a buffer pad on that sucker and get
a couple (dozens) men and you could polish your car/truck in no time.

I'm wondering what you need one that big for.

I bet that controlling the "big pieces" and the amount of material removal would be pretty difficult.

I bet you don't get to close to that one but once. Also, no long sleeves. Getting sucked into that would ruin your day for sure.

I just saw a similar sized one on the Dallas craigslist: Dual 36" disks
http://dallas.craigslist.org/dal/tls/1640417572.html
I guess the 'my sander is bigger than your sander' competition is over.

The RPM is probably fairly low, to reduce the chance of burning.
