    Kudos to Canada

They may not have owned the whole podium, but with 14 gold medals in these games, they sure owned the top of it!

It was heck of a game and certainly congratulation goes to both teams for a great finish to these Olympic Games.

As a nation that had not won an Olympic gold at home, we needed the push from "Own The Podium" and it appears that it has paid off (although I don't think anyone expected this many golds). Apparently 14 is the record for Winter Games.

        Now back to the shop!

I watched that great gang brawl this afternoon! Never understood the purpose of that little round thing they keep hitting with the sticks. Just get rid of it and beat each other with the sticks until the last man up on skates is declared the winner for his gang....

Really was a great game! Congrats to the NHL guys from Canada.

Congrats Canada. I think I should have stayed away from the hockey though. Starting watching it, then had to leave. My FIL said a bit after I left, the US scored, then scored again to send it to overtime. I walked back in to turn the game on and then Canada scored to win.

I have watched two complete hockey games in my life. 1980 US vs USSR and today's. As I have now seen the two best hockey games ever played, I need not watch any more hockey. Great show today!

I was biting my nails when the US scored with 25 seconds left in the game. The goalies played great games and made things exciting. Now these guys have to go back to their respective teams and face the guys they were beating on

There was hockey in the Olympics??

Oh yeah, I guess they needed something to balance out the skaters with the heavy makeup, taffeta and pink ribbons. And that's just the guys...
