    Unclaimed Property Web Site

Well, this was interesting. I stuck in my last name, dropped by some of the states I've lived in, and up popped my name with an address and employer from '84.

I tried to check it out - it seems like a legitimate web site. If they really are, I can expect my check in 10 days. If not, watch for me in the ads, singing about how my identity got stolen. (Honest, I really can sing. Ask any of the neighborhood dogs)

My state has its own unclaimed property site. Yours probably does too.

      My state does too

And this web site is linked to all the states. Since I've lived in several from the west coast to the midwest, that helped ease the search.

I just put my last name in the search. Found $113.00 that belongs to my ex daughter in law.

I checked the Minnesota list 2 years ago. Found my name and filled out the forms.

I got a check for $47 from an insurance account settlement I never knew about. They said they couldn't find me.

I've in my present house 35 years! Been in the phonebook 47 years. Go figure.
You might think I haven't contributed much to the world, but a large number
of the warning labels on tools can be traced back to things I've done...

LOML is trying to figure out how you know how much you are going to get and I only know that I'm getting more then $100.

Assuming it shows up, she'll get to try and figure out what happened to it!
