    OT: Outlook Express Question

Yes, I know the outcry to go with Firefox but I'm an old dog so humor me here. At the New Message window of Outlook Express I have lost the entire bar for text modification: size, font, color, etc, and the selected defaults for color and font do not come out when typing the post. Question: "Can I re-install Outlook Express what is there and not worry about losing the content of the folders and the newsgroups (not as important. If it is risky - what isn't with MS - what do I need to backup?

    TIA,
    Chiz
    Blessings,

Click on Format at the top and make sure you have Rich Text checked instead of Plain Text. When you have Plain Text checked the toolbar disappears.

I initially had Outlook Express, and then changed to Outlook. Outlook seems to be easier to use.
