    Wanna drive a splinter?

    I'm sure some of you have heard of this before, but it was news to me. A guy built a sports car, supposedly capable of doing 240 mph, out of wood.

      There was an article on him and his car in Wood magazine last year. His shop is about 20 minutes from my house. I tried getting in touch for a tour but never heard anything back and didn't have the time to push it.

          Just wander towards his house with an 18 volt recipro running, that should get his attention:-)
