Deadliest Catch Captain Phil Harris Died

I am an unrepentant fan of the Deadliest Catch series. Phil had to take part of a season off because of his precarious health. He returned for the second half of the season, saying he couldn't stay away. And, smoking again.

May the wind, be always at your back, Captain Phil.

With the lifestyle and environment those guys have, it's a wonder any of them makes it to 50.

I will miss him on the show. I hope his boys take this to heart and at least quit their bad habits....but unfortunately I doubt it. R.I.P. Phil!

Sorry to see him go. Unfortunatly, I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. I think he smoked about a pack a minute.

I suggested to my wife that we go to Hooters or Red Lobster on Friday and crack a few legs in his memory.

            She agreed.
