    Search engine for craigslist

Does anyone know a good search engine to use for looking at entire areas (like states or regions) for an item? It's so time consuming to look city by city, and I could look at nearby states as well.
    Thanks,
    Jim

Crazedlist, at least used to be (haven't checked it in probably 8 months).
She couldn't tell the difference between the escape pod, and the bathroom. We had to go back for her.........................Twice.

      www.searchtempest.com

They used to have an awesome version where it automatically removed the locations with no results, but apparently they got in trouble with craigslist and now it's more interactive but still excellent.

Yup, Craigslist was gettin' on 'em about the name (it used to be called craigshelper.com).

If you are searching for a particular item, do this:

"particular item xyz" + Craigslist and it will do the search all over the nation. If it is just one word you do not need the quotes.

            Try http://craiglook.com/

It tries its best to be location based (you can expand the radius out to encompass a pretty big area), and allows you to refine searches a bit -- also it can sort entries by age, etc.

Google it. List the item and craigslist.
Example: dewalt drill craigslist, or yamaha keyboard craigslist.
The search result will show all available listings.
